The Role of the Product Manager

A pivotal position within the business, with ambitious growth plans. This challenging role will focus on all aspects of product marketing, strategy and delivery of new products, to maximise sales volumes in order to meet the business’ market share, revenue and margin ambition.

Key responsibilities of the Product Manager  

  • Previous product management experience with B2B capital products
  • Experience of using marketing initiatives to drive sales
  • Proven success working in a customer centric environment
  • Managing and supporting system and process development/improvement projects
  • Management of Aftermarket parts re-source projects that drive parts sales revenue and investment growth
  • Developing an overall understanding of all product categories to enable greater support in the delivery of Product Life Cycle priority projects
  • Managing product related processes to drive customer solutions & availability

Requirements of the Product Manager

  • Ability to articulate complex information in a simple and concise way, including the development and delivery of presentations for senior management
  • Strong negotiation skills, ensuring smooth running of projects and trouble shooting
  • Excellent written and oral communications
  • Experience working in a Product role managing B2B Capital products
