The TMRG HR and Business Services Division was launched in August 2019. Emma Smith (Manager) has the responsibility of the recruitment and training of a team to support this function.  Emma has over 15 years of recruitment experience and has recruited across multiple sectors and locations within the West Midlands.  She has a passion for providing a first-class service to both candidates and clients and a reputation for delivering exceptional results. Although this is a young division within the Group, we have the benefit of an extremely loyal client base that have welcomed this additional service we now offer. I started my career in Recruitment in 2004, I went to register with an agency and they offered me a position with them and I have never left the sector. I have 15 years’ experience recruiting and have covered many sectors during this time the last 11 have been recruiting HR and Operational Business Services to Director level.  Prior to this I recruited into the Event and Hospitality Sector.  During my career I have also won awards and secured many clients based on my levels of understanding of skills and customer service. I am proud to say I only work with clients that I truly believe in their vision and brand. We spend a third of lives at work and I am a firm believer that we should not settled for a job but find an employer that offer you the career that you want. I think of myself as an extension of my clients recruitment process and actually listen to find the perfect match.

Following my studies of Advertising and Marketing, I found myself working in sales for 6 years and learnt I had a natural flare for building relationships and understanding people’s needs, not only with my customers but also with my colleagues.  After being offered an opportunity to train a new team in my previous role I found that supporting people in their development and future career paths was the next challenge for me. Recruitment is the next step for me in my career which will allow me to use all my skills and experience to help candidates find the perfect role for them and also making sure the clients receive the best possible service from me.  I am excited to be here and take on a new challenge with such an experienced team.
