My client is looking for a Business Development Manager to join their New Business and Marketing team. It is a pivotal role that drives the sales process by being the face of all things new business.

This is a role for someone ambitious and targets driven, looking for a career move with future opportunities. You should have previous experience in business development in a similar industry.

Main Responsibilities:
Represent the brand as first point of contact for new business
Reach out to leads by phone/email
Cultivate prospect relationships
Follow up on direct marketing campaigns
Support Head of Business Development in sales process
Grow and manage our pipeline
Help train and supervise New Business and Marketing interns

Skills and knowledge:
Experience in managing CRM systems
Excellent written and verbal communication skills to sell an idea clearly
Confident and professional phone manner
Strong commercial awareness and drive to increase revenue
Understanding of key markets (sports, media and entertainment, emerging technologies)

Personal Characteristics:
Ambitious and stats/targets driven
Able to keep calm in high pressure situations
Proactive, resourceful and able to spot a good lead
Professional, positive and focused on problem solving

Experience:
2-3 years’ experience in a B2B business development role (preferably within branding industry)
Proven track record in securing meetings, tenders, briefs and being part of the pitch team
